Series: Rediscovering God – Unlearning Old Beliefs

Thank you for joining me on this journey of Rediscovering God: Unlearning Old Beliefs. In the next four posts, I’ll be exploring the process of releasing old ideas about a distant, demanding God and embracing a deeper, more authentic connection with Love—unconditional, ever-present, and true. Each post in this series will dive into a different layer of this unlearning and rediscovery, inviting you to pause, reflect, and perhaps even find a bit of your own story within these words. I hope these reflections offer insight, comfort, and encouragement for anyone who may be rethinking their beliefs or seeking more deeply.

In this post, I share how letting go of strict religious routines allowed me to discover a more genuine, heart-centered relationship with Love.

A look into the fears I faced in my journey, and how releasing those fears led me to embrace Truth and find Peace.

Reflecting on the shift from judgment to compassion, and how understanding Love has deepened my connection with others.

A new understanding of purpose—not as a single calling, but as an everyday expression of who I am.

You Know Me

Close my eyes

Inhale each word

Ponder the truth

You…

Know…

Me…

I was planned before time began

Your plan unfolds with each new day

You…

Know…

Me…

Reflection

As I sat still, embracing the quiet, a sense of knowing washed over me—a reminder that I am seen, known, and deeply loved. Before anyone else knew me, Love knew me fully.

In that moment of stillness, I felt Love’s presence enfold me, filling every part of my heart and mind. I knew, with a peace that words can’t capture, that I am never alone. Love surrounds me—both within and around. This is the truth I return to when the world feels overwhelming or I need a reminder of my worth: Love is unwavering, Love’s knowing is infinite.

This experience brought to mind the words of Psalm 139 (TPT):

“Lord, you know everything there is to know about me. You perceive every movement of my heart and soul, and you understand my every thought before it even enters my mind.”

Each of us can draw close to this truth, feeling secure and known even in the midst of unknown moments. My prayer is that this reflection will encourage you to take a few moments today to close your eyes, breathe, and remember—you, too, are fully known and deeply loved by the One who created you.
