Deep Cries Out

Purify my heart, Purify my desires, May my desire be for You, Jesus, alone

I hear, “Deep calls unto deep, I AM calling to you, coooome, come closer, let’s go deep. There is so much more, come.”

I close my eyes, absorbing His words. {Visual} A deep well within me—a well that God calls me to draw from. I realized I am not the well; rather, the well of Living Water resides within me. There’s a divine invitation, a beckoning to go deeper in Him, to plunge into the depths of His love.

This revelation unfolded during a sacred moment at Risen Nation in Keller, Texas, on Monday, 11.13.23, at 6:27 AM. As I penned down these thoughts, the atmosphere resonated with another voice in prayer, proclaiming, “You could be anything, and You chose to be Love!” In response, I couldn’t help but exclaim, “Wow, so good!” The repetition of those words— “You could be ANYTHING and YOU chose to be LOVE!”—resonates deeply within me, reigniting the flame in my heart.

Reflecting on this experience as I sit here tonight, typing these words, I felt compelled to ensure that everything in my journal originated from the divine encounter and not merely borrowed from a song. A quick search confirmed that the words were indeed a gift from God during my time in the prayer room.

However, the journey took an unexpected turn when I stumbled upon a beautiful song by Jeremy Riddle. Here’s the YouTube link.

Although this is a journal entry of a personal encounter I had with Jesus, this experience is not exclusive to me alone. Jesus extends the same invitation to each of us. He beckons, not only to me but to all, to draw closer, to venture deeper into that sacred secret place in His presence.

He is calling, inviting us individually and collectively, to come closer, to experience the depths of His love. It’s an intimate call, resonating beyond my personal encounter, reaching out to everyone to discover that sacred secret place in His divine presence.

A Father’s Love

Look with wonder at the depth of the Father’s marvelous love that he has lavished on us! He has called us and made us his very own beloved children.” – 1 John 3:1 tPt

In the quiet moments, she gazes into the bathroom mirror, a smile on her lips. Her heart swells with gratitude for the journey of self-love she’s embraced. Whispers escape with her smile, “Papa, thank You for the beauty of Your love.”

A Father’s love holds transformative power. In the presence of a healthy father, a little girl discovers a love that echoes through her life. This love becomes a lens through which she perceives herself. Unfazed by societal standards or others’ opinions, she learns to see herself through the tender eyes of her loving father.

Recently, my self-perception underwent a profound shift. No weight was lost, no makeup adorned my face, and no drastic changes altered my appearance. What changed was my acceptance of my Father’s love. His words of acceptance, love, and affirmation echoed in my heart, and I embraced them fully. No longer do I shy away or deny my true identity. Through the lens of my loving Papa, I see the unfiltered truth of who I am.

{Visual} A little girl around the age of five, with curly ponytails, and a pink checkered dress twirling freely.

As I pondered on this visual, a profound connection resonated with words of healing and restoration spoken by Papa a few years ago: ‘I am healing you from the abuse you suffered, and I will restore your innocence.’

Thank you, Papa, for your unwavering love. Through your love, my eyes have been opened, allowing me to love myself freely.

Beloved, Be Loved

Let go, there’s no need to strive. What is there to hold on to? Everything in this world is fleeting, but My love for you.

Let go, stop fighting against what you know is true–that’s My love for you.

You’ve heard stories that just aren’t true. You feel the power of My love calling out to you.

My love is not fake, phony, or a net meant to trap you. My love is real and authentic. My love will never change, and I’ll always remain true.

Allow My love in. Allow My love to nourish the deepest depths of your heart, the places where counterfeit love came crashing in–My love has the power to comfort and heal those places of your heart that were left in ruin.

But first, you must let Me in…

Behold, I’m standing at the door, knocking. If your heart is open to hear My voice and you open the door within, I will come in to you and feast with you, and you will feast with Me. Revelation 3:20 tPt

Revelation 3:20 Footnote: The Aramaic can be translated, “I have been standing at the door, knocking.” Jesus, knocking on the door, points us to the process of an ancient Jewish wedding invitation. In the days of Jesus, a bridegroom, and his father would come to the door of the bride-to-be carrying the betrothal cup of wine and the bride-price. Standing outside, they would knock. If she fully opened the door, she was saying, “Yes, I will be your bride.” Jesus and His Father, in the same way, are knocking on the doors of our hearts, and inviting us to be the bride of Christ.

“Who is this for?”

A gentle whisper rested on my heart: ‘Who is this for?’

Writing has been my expression for so long, whether through journaling, books, blogs, or social media posts. However, there’s a revelation that has quietly grown within me. In the process of sharing, I’ve held back, revealing only what I thought others could handle. I’ve concealed a part of myself, locking her away and tucking the key out of sight.

Initially, it doesn’t start that way. I begin by pouring out freely, sharing with Papa, and allowing Him to share with me. Yet, when it comes time to share with the world, I find myself critiquing, and censoring. The essence becomes diluted, no longer the pure expression that flowed from my heart to His or from His heart to mine.

Today serves as a reminder—it’s for me first. Moving forward, I’ve decided to write without worry, without fear.

This is my journey.

So, who is this for?

This is for me, first! ♡

Shattered Glass

Once broken,

Always broken,

That’s simply untrue.

When a glass shatters, our instinct is to dispose of it, collecting larger shards, and sweeping up the smaller fragments. Yet, even in our caution, injuries may persist. A cut on the finger, or a glass shard slipping through a crack, resurfacing, finding its way into our unsuspecting foot.

Ouch!

Broken glass possesses sharp edges, demands delicate handling…

Consider this:

What if you chose to mend that shattered glass? You might initially think, “Whoa, that’s too much work! It’s shattered, beyond repair. Not that serious; it’s easier to buy a new glass!”

Imagine:

The glass was one of a kind?

Specially crafted, a custom design, a unique type of glass?

What if the glass was priceless, an heirloom, irreplaceable by any other?

Instead of discarding it, you decide to gather every piece, large and small, placing them gently into a container. You commit to restoring this special glass—piece by piece, bringing back its original design, acknowledging its value, and recognizing it as a masterpiece!

Daughter, Live!

Daughter,

As I look upon the masterpiece of your existence, I want you to hear the whispers of my heart. “Daughter, live.” I fashioned you for so much more than the weight you’ve carried. I’m profoundly sorry for the suffering you’ve endured, the wrongs inflicted upon you, and the pain etched into your soul.

In the midst of your hurt, I extend an invitation. Come to me, lay down the burdens of your heart. Release the pain, the hurt, and any lingering unforgiveness. I long to cradle you in my love, to heal the wounds that ache within. Your healing is not just a wish; it’s a promise I hold for you.

My desire for you is nothing short of abundance—a life overflowing with joy, peace, and purpose. You are my cherished creation, and I speak life over you. Let my words echo in the depths of your being, breathing renewed strength into every fiber of your existence.

So, my precious one, heed the call. Come, let me wrap you in the warmth of my love. Embrace the healing I offer, and step into the fullness of the life I have designed uniquely for you.

With unwavering love,

Papa

If you’re curious about the prophetic artwork featured on my welcome page, it was created in September 2019 by Meghan Williams of Dyed4you Art. Feel free to explore the accompanying prophetic word on the Dyed4you Art website by clicking here.

The inspiration behind commissioning Meghan Williams to create the prophetic portrait titled “Daughter, Live!” stemmed from a desire for an artistic expression that could speak of my journey of healing and hope through the transformative power of Jesus. At the time my blog was titled mydaughter-live.

Psalm 118:17 (VOICE), resonates: “I will not die. I will live. I will live to tell about all the Eternal has done.” This verse serves as a reminder and declaration of the inherent value of my life. My story unfolded from one of trauma and abuse into one of transformation and hope. This scripture stands as a testament to my decision to break free from the shackles of my past and choose to live. Now, it fuels my passion to share the incredible work that God has done for me, reaching out to those who may find themselves in the same place I once was.

This Moment

Here in Your presence

Time stands still

I close my eyes

Nothing else matters

I’m in this moment with You

Pause

Everything stops

Silence surrounds me

I refuse to rush

Let the world continue on with its fast pace

I will not fast-forward

I will not press play

I’ll remain still

Aware of Your presence

Surrounded by Your beauty

Enveloped in this moment

Here with You

Just Be

“Religion says, ‘You must do.’ Relationship says, ‘Just be!’ You don’t have to come with a check list of things to do. Just come and just be. Just be present. Just as you enjoy My presence, I enjoy your presence.”

-Papa God

Childlike Joy & Freedom

“Whoever continually humbles himself to become like this little child is the greatest one in heaven’s kingdom realm.” Matthew‬ ‭18:4‬ ‭TPT‬‬

But when you choose to be cheerful, every day will bring you more and more joy and fullness.” Proverbs‬ ‭15:15‬ ‭TPT‬‬

{Visual} Papa leans in close “Shhhh, your secret is safe with me. You have permission to be childlike and full of wonder. {Visual} Papa winks and giggles. “We both know the truth!”

I understand; it’s easy to get wrapped up in the world around you. One moment you’re living in childlike wonder, and the next, you feel like you should act more like a grown-up. So you find yourself “adulting” in my presence instead of living from the beauty of the childlike wonder that fills your heart. My child, you’re free to be yourself with me—full of life, joy and wonder. Continue to drink in joy, love, and peace. Enjoy this place of freedom, laughter, and unending joy that you’ve found in me. Protect it, and don’t allow anything to rob you of your birthright—freedom and joy belong to you!

Drink in joy

Laugh boldly

Dance wildly

Live Freely

Enjoy Life
